Now, when you sign up for just 2 session-based classes, you’ll get a 5% discount if you purchase them at the same time. If you sign up for 3 or more session-based classes, you’ll get a 15% discount.

• Are you signing up your 2 kids for the same class? You get an automatic 5% off now!

• Are you signing yourself up for a class ON TOP of your kids classes?! that’s right, 3 or more classes in your cart gives you 15% off!

• Do you wanna go ham and take four classes on your own? that’s it - 15% off them all.

Updated Deposit and Cancellation Policies (April 2026)

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to keep the studio running as smoothly as possible, with all of you at the forefront of our minds. We realized some of our old policies were confusing and not as flexible as we’d like to be, so we have made some updates.

In the past there was a $10 nonrefundable fee that became $50 one week before the start of class, which we realized was not very equitable for our classes with varying tuition amounts. Now, it’ll be a quarter of tuition that becomes nonrefundable instead of a $50 flat rate.

STUDENT INITIATED WITHDRAWAL 

A $10 administrative fee is included in all registrations. This fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cases of sudden illness, injury, or scheduling conflicts​.

If a student requests withdrawal more than 7 days before the first class, they are eligible for a full refund minus the $10 administrative fee. After that date, a quarter of the total tuition cost becomes non-refundable. If the course has already begun, the cost for the number of classes that have passed will be subtracted from the refund amount. Except in cases of documented medical necessity, no refunds or credits will be issued after the 4th class has passed. 

​Medical Exception: In the event of injury or illness that prevents safe participation, we ​offer a ​p​ro-rated refund for all remaining sessions (minus the initial $10 fee). Please notify us as soon as possible​ if this applies to you. 

STUDIO INITIATED CANCELLATION (ENTIRE SESSION):

If a session is canceled by the studio, due to low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances, students will be notified as soon as possible. In these cases, the studio will provide a 100% refund of all tuition and fees, including the $10 administrative deposit.

STUDIO OR INSTRUCTOR INITIATED CANCELLATION (A SINGLE DAY):

 If a specific class is canceled due to instructor unavailability or unforeseen circumstances at the studio, a makeup session will be scheduled. If no makeup is provided, or if the student is unable to attend the rescheduled date, they will receive a full refund for that individual class date.

About the new Minimum Enrollment Policy:

To ensure the financial sustainability of our classes and provide a consistent experience for both instructors and our students, all classes will be subject to the following enrollment policy:

• 2 minimum for a drop-in eligible class, 1 or less will be cancelled

• 3 minimum for a non-drop-in eligible class, 2 or less will be cancelled.

Cancellations will be finalized no later than 48 hours before the first class.

New in 2026 - DROP IN CLASSES and LATE REGISTRATION!!

Historically, Sparrow Studios has always been a session-based circus school. We love that model because it helps you dive into a progressive curriculum and really see your skills take off. But we also know that life happens, and sometimes you just want to hop into a class without the full commitment.

The evolution is here: We’ve opened up select classes for drop-ins!

As long as you meet the prerequisites and there’s a spot available, you can hop in!

How to snag a spot:

1. Check the Widget: Head over to our registration page (the same spot you usually go for sessions).

2. Look for the Button: If a class is open for drop-ins, you’ll see a "Drop-in" option.

3. Book Your Way: You can pay online instantly, or just show up and pay the instructor via Cash or Venmo.

4. Old School: If you prefer the personal touch, you can still contact your instructor directly to see if there’s room.

While we’re excited about the flexibility, we still love a heads-up! If you’re planning a drop-in or a makeup, try to book or reach out in advance. It helps our instructors prep the best possible experience for everyone.

While aerial classes are still mostly session-based (keep an eye out for occasional openings!), you can drop into these favorites just about any time, if there is space!:

drop in pricing: $10 for a 60 minute jam, $15 for a 60 minute class, $25 for a 90 minute class, $30 for a 2 hour class

Updates to Early Bird pricing

This fall we adjusted the pricing structure, where classes were raised by a flat $10, with an offsetting $10 discount code for early registration.

To ensure fair application across all our offerings, we are simplifying the structure to a percentage-based model:

Simply:

1. The base price of all classes has been adjusted upwards by 5%.

2. The Early Bird Discount is now 5% off the new, adjusted class price.

The Best Way to Save: Register Early!

The Early Bird Discount remains the best way to secure your spot and save on tuition. By registering within the first week of registration, and using the earlybird discount code, you will receive the 5% discount.

Class Pricing Adjustment

We want to let you know about a necessary update to our class pricing – Running a studio comes with significant costs, and in the past few months, expenses like insurance, registration software, and utilities have particularly impacted us financially during the summer period of lower enrollment. To help us continue offering the high-quality classes you love, we'll be introducing a slight price increase of $10 per class, effective August 5, 2025, to help cover increasing bills and continue to pay our instructors a respectable wage. We strive to keep our prices accessible, and increasing them is never something we do without careful consideration.

On a brighter note, you can pay our current rates by taking advantage of our Early Bird Discount! Register within the first week of enrollment to lock in the former tuition prices. This offer is our way of showing gratitude to our continuing students and helps us gauge class demand more effectively!

Same classes... new names! CB gets an UPDATE

NEW THIS SEPTEMBER! Our instructors have been hard at work updating our Intro to Aerial, Continuing Beginner 1, and Continuing Beginner 2 adult aerial curriculums! While the names for the CB levels have a slight refresh, the core themes and progression remain consistent. You'll still advance through one Intro class, two CB1 classes, and three CB2 classes before moving on to CB3.

We're considering developing curriculums for Handstands and other adult classes, too. What do you think? We're always looking to expand our offerings! We'd love to hear what you'd like to see at the studio! Thanks for growing with us <3

BIPOC & Foster Child Scholarship

Great news – You can now contribute to our BIPOC and Foster Child Scholarship Fund! This fund offers a 25% tuition discount for BIPOC and Foster Child participants. The studio is committed to this initiative and covers the rest, so the instructors are paid the standard tuition amount. Many of you have asked how you can help, and now it's easy! When you register for classes, you'll see optional amounts of $10, $20, or $50 that you can add to your tuition to support the scholarship fund. 

Our commitment to a people-first, profit-second philosophy means we prioritize our value of community - we try to balance efforts to keep student costs low and also uphold fair compensation for our dedicated instructors. And that has been a challenge! While we've always strived to maintain this balance, recent rising costs and fluctuations in enrollment have made it unsustainable without considering some adjustments.
